It gives me immense pleasure to welcome the prospective students  to the Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Murthal. This State University, established by the Act of Legislature, has the objective of providing  scientific, technical & professional  education at higher level to all those who aspire for it.
The University is committed to excel in teaching, training, capacity building, scholarship, research and public service.
I take pride in taking on all the expectation of this State University, and strive to create, not just
professionally versatile individuals, but also individuals who uphold their esteem for all challenges of the contemporary world. In this era of continuous and competitive emergence of new institutes of higher learning, in both public and private sectors, we at DCRUST, Murthal, aspire to achieve and empower our students with all the skills and demands of a global community.
Vice-Chancellorship is not a mere privilege but also a responsibility, a hope and an ambition to create more than mere skilled graduates. It is my endeavour to assist in graduating a challenged, questioning and motivated generation of youth, empowered with access to all levels of informational and technological assistance provided by our University.

At the beginning of new academic session, I reaffirm my resolve, to take Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University to higher orbit of knowledge and social responsibility, with the cooperation of all my students and colleagues.

We highly believe in "Excel Through Knowledge". And we are determined to move beyond the mere geographical realms and acquire a truly global presence through power of knowledge.
